Torun

One of the most attractive places in the region is a UNESCO World Heritage town of Torun, with its beautiful Teutonic Knights castles, long chains of lakes and dense forests.

Torun is a city of stately old center and modern and green outskirts. The main driving route passes the northern edge of Old Town. All objects worth seeing are located in the Old Town, which is easily within walking distance. Torun, in contrast to Warsaw, Gdansk or other historical cities, has not suffered damage during the Second World War and its world-class heritage remained fully authentic.

Philadelphia Boulevard is a popular berth walks in Torun providing great views across the river on one side and ideally preserved medieval city Defensive Wall on the other.
